Welcome to Hide Listings! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hide Listings browser extension (the "Service"). By installing and using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Hide Listings is a browser extension that allows users to hide unwanted item listings on the Facebook Marketplace website. It adds a "Hide" button to listings, and upon clicking, it stores the listing's ID locally in your browser to keep it hidden on subsequent visits. The Service is designed to improve your browsing experience by decluttering your feed.

2. User License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

3. Free and Pro Plans

The Service is offered under two plans:

• Free Plan: This plan allows you to hide a limited number of listings (e.g., up to 50 items). This limit is subject to change.
• Pro Plan: This is a paid subscription plan that allows for unlimited hiding of listings and may include other premium features as they are developed. Payment for the Pro Plan is required to access its features.

4. Disclaimer of Affiliation

Hide Listings is an independent software product and has no affiliation, association, authorization, endorsement by, or is in any way officially connected with Facebook™ or Meta Platforms, Inc. The use of the Facebook™ name is for identification and reference purposes only and does not imply any association with the trademark holder.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will:

• Always be functional, uninterrupted, or secure.
• Be free of errors or harmful components.
• Meet your specific requirements.

The functionality of the Service is highly dependent on the structure of the Facebook Marketplace website. Changes made by Facebook to their website may cause the Service to malfunction or cease to operate, either temporarily or permanently. We are not responsible for any such disruptions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers of Hide Listings shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Service.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree not to misuse the Service. You also acknowledge that you must comply with Facebook's own Terms of Service while using their platform, regardless of whether you are also using our Extension.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (including the name "Hide Listings", logos, graphics, and software) are and will remain the exclusive property of its owners. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by simply uninstalling the browser extension. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this document and potentially through other means. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
